“All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”  rev 13:8 nkjv There is a saying that Yahweh’s perspective is “Now, but not yet.” The one who declares the end from the beginning… from ancient times, things that are not yet done. Thus, it was even before the foundation of the world, Yahweh saw our need for deliverance from sin [which, concerning Adam’s yet to come failure, would be cause for our needing a savior].

With Yahweh, everything is “now” [His view IS of all time and everything] it exists… however with us, as time travelers, if living, yet short of our destination; we begin with a time stamp and end with a time stamp… we can normally see backward, but not forward. We can also only see what is revealed, that is in the natural. Yet when born again and spirit filled, we can benefit from “spirit eyes” of faith and perception, that can reveal the “not yet,” and allow us to see supernaturally. Our inner vision sees things and activity as it relates to our inner reservoir or Yahweh’s Word, it is the focal mechanism for our spiritual insights. This vision is reserved to the person who has filled their mind and heart with Yahweh’s Word and walks in the Spirit, not after the flesh. This “vision” can be likened to a natural eye receiving the environment and activity around them and converting it into “vision;” and considering the amount of knowledge and understanding one has, the perceived vision is measurable and informative, by degree of one’s capacity, on a natural plane. And both natural and spiritual vision have “memory” capacity.

Most of us have a good understanding of our past; we have various opinions of history and present life, depending upon which resources and records we have chosen to believe. We have varying degrees of education and Biblical knowledge, which may cause us to possess some strong beliefs of doctrine, and some uncertain opinions of the Bible’s more difficult teachings. In addition, we all have experiences that influence our thinking and beliefs. Now, how does all this effect our faith and eventual actions. Are these choices truly based upon our faith in Yahweh’s Word, or upon our own conglomerate assortment of our knowledge and life’s experiences…?

What do we really think about Yahweh’s sovereignty… that He alone is qualified to order our pathway along our time line. Do we experience conflict in our complicated mix of natural mind and spiritual mind’s opinions? Are we able to allow His Word to be the lamp unto our feet and light unto our path? Ps 119:105 nkjv  I think that only a heart and mind convicted to trusting Yahweh’s Word and following Yeshua’s likeness can lead the time traveler to arrive safely at the eternal goal that we must “see” as Now, but not yet.

Let me ask you to consider Peter’s words:

“8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 pet 3:8 nkjv And,

“...knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 pet 3:3-4 nkjv

In Ecclesiastes chapter 3, Solomon lists 14 things that seem to be issues of continual rotation through our “times.” They represent changing dynamics of human experience. It is our choices, based upon our following Yahweh's instructions to us, concerning these “things/issues,” that shape and determine our destination at the end of our time. It seems, according to Isaiah, that Yahweh knows our end from the beginning. He fully understands our complicated life and frustrations and dilimenas, and He knows our feebleness of faith [Yeshua commented, 4 times in Matthew, “or Ye of little faith”].

It seems to me that the day in which we live, more and more naysayers are scoffing at the idea of a loving Creator and Savior, who enthusiastically orders our steps with promises like: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” isa 55:11 nkjv   And, “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” phil 2:13 nkjv  “Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” rom 8:27 nkjv

I pray that we can all clearly see with heartfelt faith that we are “children of the day, not of the darkness…” 1 thes 5:5 nkjv;  holding fast to the spiritual vision that we truly can live in the “Now, but not yet” destiny that Yahweh clearly designed for our “time.”

Shalom, John

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”   rom 8:28-29 nkjv
