“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”ps 34:1 nkjv

August 31, 2021

The Psalmist David, thinking of the wonder of his being, and how GOD knew him before he became substance in his mother’s womb, said this:

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. Ps 139:1-4 nkjv

Consider the writer of Hebrews says: “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” heb 4:13 nkjv

David continues to reveal amazing details of who WE are, and how Yahweh brought us to be.

“For You formed my inward parts; You covered [wove] me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” ps 139:13-16 nkjv

Do we realize that every particle of our being was “skillfully wrought,” and while we grew in our mother’s womb, we were being “woven” into the special person Yahweh decided we should be? Then to realize our “days are fashioned for us,” before any of them existed… can we get our mind around all of this?

As believers, if by faith and trust in Yahweh’s Word, and we take His Word for fact, we can say as David said, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” In fact, we are each a unique person, there is none other like us, none other brought forth to do what Yahweh fashioned for us to do in our days. Oh, that we would seek to know what it is that the architect of all creation had in mind for us!

We are created in the “image” of Yahweh. Created to be recipients of His love and to be “caretakers” of His creation. Yahweh intended us to be holy, upright, faithful, and obedient… and as Yeshua said:

“The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” mk 12:29-31 nkjv

This is what the architect of Creation was likely thinking of, for our purpose, while He was skillfully perfecting us, and what was “written the book,” before we were, that David speaks of… Amazing… Do you know how special you are, and how much Yahweh loves you and desires your faithful fellowship with Him?

Those who live the purpose of Yeshua's "first" and "second" command, above... while in this life, truly are as close to the "Kingdom of God" as can be; mat 6:33 nkjv

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Shalom… John

"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.”  ps 139:17-18 nkjv
