“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.“ 2 tim 3:12-13 nkjv |
August 26, 2025 ”For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 jn 1:7 nkjv) Notice John says here “an” antichrist… there are many and they manifest in many forms and capacities, yet they are not “the” antichrist. Down through the ages, beginning with the new believers in the first century, warnings have been given believers to beware of false teachers and treacherous scheming of “antichrist” activity. This devotional will focus on historic, current, and coming antichrist activity in its different forms. It [antichrist influence] has embedded its practices in religious institutions, cultural traditions, secrete society groups, and more. The later, I will not address herein. Namely, I will address three that were recently published in Lighthouse Trails Ministry outreach at their website. These are the main three that have been working for a long time. They are listed as Catholicism, Calvinism, and Contemplative New Age practices. Be certain this is NOT a accusation against many wonderful people and their desire to connect with God or spiritual identity, but it is a warning that within these venues, much “antichrist” activity is at work. The “coming antichrist” powers are now working and are dramatically growing to such a powerful evil, that I think it will eclipse the other three previous evils, and its move into further empowering them will magnify their influence and grip on the sleeping sheep. The societal and cultural stage is set; The Apostle Paul said this to Timothy: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Tim 3:1-5 nkjv Here are the referenced articles that detail these issues, for the historic, current and now, reference this link: Lighthouse Trails publication Here is the reference to the now and coming issue: A Glen Beck broadcast. Not sure how long this posting will be “on line.” I provide both a YouTube link and alternate Rumble link: Glen Beck broadcast link, YouTube Glen Beck broadcast link, Rumble [alternate] Things are happening fast. The desire of our adversary and his “antichrist” campaign is to confuse us, divide us, make us fearful, dull our perceptions, and using his smoke and mirrors trickery, keep us from understanding our times [FROM A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW]… I think we are living in the last days that the Bible teaches. It is vitally important for us to know what is going on and WHAT is coming. And for us to be alert to things but not fearful or worrisome. Our safe haven is being kept in Yahweh’s provision for wisdom, insight, peace and hope in the midst of the storms that the evil one has planned to bring against us. The Apostle Paul teaches us this: “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober” 1 thes 5:4-6 nkjv Shalom, John |
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.” ps 91:1-3 nkjv |
