The above title scripture suggests that the one “keeping the law” would know what the law says… else how can one keep what he does not know? Proverbs chapter 28 has much to say about the righteousness and the wicked… one verse says:

“One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.” prov 28:9 nkjv

Now do you think this verse should be taken literally, or is it simply a common jingle, like an advertisement, that suggests you try the product… for some personal benefit? Are you aware that people don’t really give much attention to the Bible’s writings [most people].

Then, who would this verse be really speaking to? Surely not the wicked or the secular pleasure seekers who consider the Bible a fairy tale for kids and delusional thinkers. My point is, not many even pray and seek favor for walking a reverent and faithful life of Biblical admonition. So how can they relate to their “prayer” being an abomination? Why should they give it a second thought… such is life.

Perhaps more alarming is the mantra of modern church teachings that the “law” was nailed to the cross; that the “law” is for the Jews; that the “new covenant” no longer requires a person to keep the “law…” for a few examples: obviously they did not hear Yeshua say:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” mat 5:17-19 nkjv

I read different news links [not mainstream blabber] and try to relate it to the Biblical perspective… I want to see how it fits into what Yeshua [Jesus] said about the end of days events and growing upheaval of our society. The best I can tell, we are rapidly approaching the days Yeshua warned about, with us “not being deceived” being one of the main dangers. If that is the case, would we not want our prayers to be heard by God… I suggest prayer is a form of fellowship with our Creator; it is what stabilizes us in this turbulent centrifuge of confusion we see going on all around us. If Yahweh is not going to hear our prayers and guide our pathway, who else do we look to for peace and stability. I contend that the present dynamics of our age are designed and intended to confuse us and pressure us into conformance with a dystopian world that demands our attention and compliance with its anti-Christ ways.

The main point to me, that being that if one does not read [hear/obey] God’s law, and respect its intended influence and benefit to our sanity and mental soundness, then we will be named among the wicked… and, if “believers,” and being one who turns his ear away from the law of God, our prayer will be selfish grabs for help that we don’t deserve and we will certainly not get… unless we repent and return to our “first love.”

It seems that since Yeshua was so concerned with our thinking straight and securely in God’s law, instructions for living, the narrow path into the shelter of His grace and mercy, that we must focus [refocus in some cases] upon the “guidance system” of the law and fellowship of the Holy Spirit in order that we don’t get diluted or corrupted by what is going on around us… have you looked at the lunacy and abnormal lifestyles that lead the headlines and social media traffic highways. You simply can’t immerse yourself into that cesspool and expect to not get splattered with its filth and deception.

The point of the scriptures above is that you can’t serve [listen to] influence from two masters… If you are not “hearing the law,” who are you hearing? If you don’t hear the law clearly and trust its truth, where will you find yourself when you wake up? Our society is so much like the people of Jeremiah's day, when Yahweh told him he would be sent to speak to the kings, princes and priest… but they would not listen to [hear] him… how would you like to take that assignment? Well, some people you talk to nowadays fit that same example.

Yahweh has sent his law [Torah], His son Yeshua, and His Holy Spirit to minister to us in our day… are our heart’s ears and our mind’s listening to the divine message, or are we turning our ears away in selfish pursuits of destructive alternatives. Listen while there is still time, someday there will not be. We live in a time of great deception, a misinformation age, and Dr Gavin Finley says that all spiritual warfare is an information war… do you see the danger? What is the “foundation” of your “hearing?” Is it the “law” of God, or other voices offering temporal pleasures?
