June 28, 2022 Who are those who “keep the commandments [Torah principles] of Yahweh and have the testimony of Yeshua? “A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation, 31 They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, That He has done this.” Ps 22:30-31 nkjv I think this verse speaks of the “Testimony of Yeshua,” which Rev 19:10 says is the “Spirit of Prophecy.” “And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, ‘See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.’” rev 19:10 nkjv The common use of words, “offspring, posterity, seed, and fruit,” all have a definitive connection to the origin of the product (offspring, seed… etc). For example, I think the one who is given to the service of Yeshua by, being born again (born of the Spirit), are progeny of afore-told utterance of Divine purpose. We as believers, I think, fit the very description of Psalms 22:30-31 noted above. We are Yeshua’s posterity, spiritual beings from spiritual seed planted by some special orchestration of Yahweh Himself. Paul said: “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” gal 3:29 nkjv It seems to me that we, by faith [as Abraham had], are “offspring” of Yeshua, one of whom the Bible refers to as “many brethren.” “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom 8:16-18 nkjv From Suffering to Glory Since we have the privileged and honor of being “joint heirs” with Yeshua as His brethren, made in His image, it is of upmost importance that we hold fast to our calling and testimony of Yeshua, so that He be continuously lifted up and glorified by the reflection of our being… the purpose for which we were created.
