| “And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” 1 jn 3:23 nkjv |
June 20, 2023 Who are Yahweh’s people? I suggest they are those who come to HIM on HIS terms. For example, Israel of old, at Mt. Sinai: “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’” ex 19:5-6 Later in ex 24, the people affirm the covenant, which included the Ten Commandants. No other people on the earth were included. However, later in chapter 32, while Moses is on the Holy Mountain, receiving further details for the people’s governance, they grow restless and decide to built a “golden calf” [to be their “god”] because Moses had not yet returned… short term of faithful commitment for sure… let us not grow weary awaiting Yeshua’s return. Sad to say, since Yeshua has come and “fulfilled” our covenant betrothal, we still fail… (because of our short term faithfulness); Yeshua’s coming has not nullified His expectation of our faithfulness, as His Bride, to “keep Yahweh’s Commandments.” jn 14:15 nkjv, 2 tim 2:19 nkjv It is simply that there is forgiveness for us when we fail, so we can get back upon our “faithful feet” and hold tighter to the hand of our Savior [Yeshua] so we can do better. Here is one of the most wonderful promises that Yahweh’s Word gives us: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 jn 1:9 nkjv Shifting gears here for a moment: Yeshua said in the “last days,” as we near and enter into the tribulation period, that our society would be as it was in the “days of Noah and Lot.” Those days were full of violence and perversion… unless you live under a blackout screen, you can’t help but see these two trends accelerating all around us. I admit, for the non-spiritual, Biblically ignorant person, that they may not “see” theses trends as an astute Biblically informed believer does. However, I think anyone with a sane mind and common sense surely knows the lights are going out on main street. No doubt, in my opinion, the celebration of wickedness and the assault on Biblical Truth, that is spreading through our society, is designed and orchestrated by satanically inspired globalist who wish to punish Yahweh’s truth and His people… who are increasingly the targets of violence and persecution. I think the anti-Christ spirit is now exponentially manifesting world wide (mentioned by John in 1 jn 4:3 nkjv); John said it was working in his world then… I think even more so in our “last days.” Unless we follow the truth of Yahweh’s Word that “sanctifies” us, and let His Holy Spirit council us, without our interference, (i.e, faithfully walk in His ways… Commandments), the corruption flood being poured out upon us, which I think will be increasing, will dull our vision and hearing… impairing our spiritual receptors… and playing to our fleshly appetites. It wants to lure us into the quicksand of deception, which is really the spirit of anti-Christ's attempt to wear down the saints, to the point where they can’t help themselves, let alone anyone else floundering in the sludge of our cultural and social sewers. Again… Who are Yahweh’s people? I suggest they are those who come to HIM on HIS terms: “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 jn 2:3-6 nkjv Shalom, John |
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”(1 jn 2:15-17 nkjv) |
