“Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.”  ps 125:1-2 nkjv

June 14, 2022

“Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person. 24 Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.” ps 31:23-24 nkjv

The message of the gospel is that of John 3:16… it is about Yahweh’s great and everlasting love for humanity. The Bible tells us of Yahweh's longsuffering, patience, mercies that “endure forever,” kindness, and more, the list goes on… King David said:

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.” Ps 32:1-2 nkjv

Looking at Paul’s words in Romans, we see:

“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” rom 2:4 nkjv

I want to encourage you today, that if you will remember the great mercies and love that our Savior Yeshua has for us, that it will lift up your countenance and inspire you to, repent if needed, and infuse you with new energy of faith, and bring you remembrance of the promise that “those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved...”. The Bible often mentions the “sacrifice of praise,” and it too will lift the heavy burdens and cares of this life from off your shoulders… bringing peace and rest for your soul. Remember, the peace Yahweh provides does not keep us out of the storms of life, but sustains us in the midst of them until we reach the calm He provides.

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Ps 34:17-19 nkjv

Let me suggest you read Psalms chapter 37, it is a confirmation to what I have said above, as well as it is the confirmation of the scriptures noted… And I think it gives us the proper perspective for making our journey through this troubled world… it ends with this:

“But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.” ps 37:39-40 nkjv

Shalom… John

“For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.”ps 125:3 nkjv
