The testimony of Yeshua [Jesus] is a dynamic truth that is empowered by Yahweh’s Holy Spirit and it is the same Spirit that “was in the beginning:”

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” gen 1:1-2 nkjv

Since in the beginning, the devil corrupted the perfect realm of Yahweh’s creation in the Garden of Eden [gen chpt 3], resulting in the fall of man, and the twisted and profane condition of our world, Yahweh has been using men who have faith in Him and follow His direction as His method to restore both fallen man and the corrupted world. Since Yeshua’s coming two thousand years ago, and the further outpouring of His Holy Spirit, at a time we call Pentecost, it has been the mission of the Holy Spirit to empower men with the “spirit of prophecy,” that being the testimony of Yeshua. If you are a believer, and share the gospel of Yeshua, you are working in the spirit of prophecy…

I want to share with you the story of one such man, who walked in the spirit of prophecy… He passed on to his heavenly reward this past February… He was a good friend of Judy and I, and he was our high school classmate as well. His name was Wally Baker. Wally lived a daily ministry of the testimony of Yeshua. He was involved in many ministries he founded and was part of many more. Some were simple Bible fellowships at his place of business (he was quite a successful businessman), and he supported many outreach community ministries, bikers ministry, and more. One of his heart’s love was for those imprisoned… he worked decades getting the gospel to them, changing many lives that only Yahweh knows the number of. He was a pilot, both single and twin engine planes, and he had 7 or 8 as I recall… He gave the last one he had to a South American missionary group to fly Bibles into remote places. While Wally was in the prison ministry, he met and became friends with an evangelists, who was once a third generation criminal who never heard of “Jesus” until he was twenty-five years old and doing hard time in prison. That man was Richard Cross, who became a evangelists and has ministered to thousands in different venues… especially in prisons. Richard Cross was one of the pastors officiating at the funeral of Wally Baker.

Wally's life [well lived] is the living example of the spirit of prophecy… with the testimony of Jesus delivering lost souls and restoring people to hope and new life… as happened to a once hardened criminal like Richard Cross.
