”Just as Genesis is the book of beginnings, Revelation is the book of consummation. In it, the divine program of redemption is brought to fruition, and the holy name of God is vindicated before all creation. Although there are numerous prophecies in the Gospels and Epistles, Revelation is the only New Testament book that focuses primarily on prophetic events. Its title means “unveiling” or “disclosure.” Thus, the book is an unveiling of the character and program of God. Penned by John during his exile on the island of Patmos, Revelation centers around visions and symbols of the resurrected Christ, who alone has authority to judge the earth, to remake it, and to rule it in righteousness.” (Broadman & Holman Publishers; New King James Version; Thomas Nelson, Inc., 1988)

I think we live in amazing times… albeit, for some, who are confused & fearful, because they know things around them are not as they should be, and not being comfortable with the reality of the times, they do like the ostrich, simply plunge their heads (and thinking) into the sand and hope the danger will pass. But to the Bible believing faithful, who look for the coming of the King of Glory, they know the signs of the times are a “revealing” of things spoken of by Yeshua in Revelation, and they observe the events of each day with faith in Yeshua’s promises and thereby have peace in the approaching storms.

I have often mentioned the modern technological age we live in… hard to keep up with all the new developments and amazing “devices and means” for surveilling and controlling the masses of people… globally, and soon they will be causing increased real time intervention and problematic implications for all of us.

In Romans 8:31-39 nkjv, Paul speaks of Yahweh's everlasting love for us… and one of the things he speaks of is, “any other created thing,” which can be God made or man made… which causes me to consider transhumanism and artificial intelligence and man-machine integrated brain/computer models now in production; and the increasing scourge of transgender perversion. Yeshua and Paul both warned us not to be deceived by impostors and mystical work of anti-Christ workers. Yeshua said the last days would be “as in the days of Noah,” and “Sodom.” Anyone who has a reasonably good understanding of the Bible knows we are now in those times. The Bible teaches us in Hosea of Yahweh's enduring love and patience with Israel’s folly… yet many think it is a lesson picture that portrays all generations of those who call themselves “believers,” because for many, we are simply a reenactment of Israel's failed faithfulness to Yahweh… Hosea’s last chapter is a summation of forgiveness and restoration of Israel. The Prophet says:

“Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.” hos 14:9 nkjv

I hope you will review my “tribulation” article and consider the message of the book of Revelation, and connect the “dots,” so to speak, that our current days news events and global activities reveal… I hope you will also read the short book of Hosea and consider how the narrative therein could apply to our lives today. I am also giving this link for many Scriptures that relate to the last days.

My main point in this week’s devotional is to remind us of the seriousness of the times because Yeshua is, I think, soon to come… we want to be preparing our spiritual lives for that day.

“ Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” Rev 19:11-13 nkjv
