“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” rom 10:4 nkjv |
April 14, 2026 “But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, 9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,…” 1 tim 1:8-10 nkjv It is notable that in the beginning, righteousness was part of the intended habitat of mankind… we know how that ended; and then, after the flood [because of corrupted righteousness], God starting over with Noah, whom He called a righteous man, was later succeeded by a deterioration of men’s righteous status, because they pursued unrighteous ways. God’s patience and long suffering with us humans is remarkable. For example, read Psalms 106, and study how the word “nevertheless” is used. During all this, and following God’s choosing of Abraham, to be progenitor of “His People,” [people who live by faith in Him] we come to Mt Sinai and the giving of the Torah [Law of Moses]… thereby, the written and forever settled Word [ps 119:89] of Yahweh was set in place. It will always be there, the scripture tells us Yahweh set His Word above His Name… think about that. “I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” ps 138:2 nkjv This is obvious when you study the Bible, all of it, you know there is no “shadow of turning” [ja 1:17] with God’s ways or completed Word, which will never change nor can it be altered. Now for the takeaway and most important thing you can ever understand or take to heart. First, everyone will be judged according to the forever settled Word that sits above the “Name” of God [the Torah/Law of Moses]… there are two groups of people, and only two lines in which people are lined up before the judgment seat of Christ… one line for the sheep [Christ bought and paid for believers], and one line for the goats [wicked, evil people, including passive unbelievers; there is NO middle ground]. Jeff Hidden, the late Bible teacher said: “procrastination is disobedience in slow motion.” For some of us, the last boarding call is now being sounded… none of us have claim that we will see tomorrow… better decide which line you want to stand in on judgment day. When your lights go out there will be no second chances. Now here is the thing… too many people do not understand this. The Torah Law is the glue that holds the universe together… it is absolute. Because it is that way, and because Yahweh loves everyone of His Creation, and desires that NONE would perish, He sent Yeshua [Jesus] to be the “paid in full” price for our sins and transgression against His eternal Law of Righteousness… Sins, all sins, against the Law must be paid for, the only currency that God accepts for payment is the Blood of Yeshua, and your confession of faith in Him… period. You must also repent and quit sinning, otherwise you are not serious. This is why Paul said “Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness”… not the end to the Law period. Torah/Law of Moses stands throughout all eternity. And, for all who believe… two things; our Yeshua given righteousness that allows us into the sheep line, and that we sincerely believe God… as Abraham did, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. God made this so simple a child can get it… what is it that is “in us” that complicates this issue? When Yahweh took the children of Israel out of Egypt [the Exodus], it only took a few days to get them out of Egypt… but the adult generation wandered in the wilderness 40 years because they would not give up the “Egypt” that was “IN” them… When we understand the simple gospel, unless we want to wander the wilderness of this world and miss the sheep line, we must expunge Egypt [worldliness] out of our pursuits, and embrace Christ, God’s gift of life eternal that separates us from the absolute judgment of the Righteous Law… Otherwise we will end up goats and lost.
