March 7, 2023 ”Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.” ps 32:1-2 nkjv Have you ever given much thought to the difference between the wicked and the righteous? What makes us righteous anyway? We have no “righteousness” of our own; the Bible tell us: “As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.” rom 3:10-11 nkjv The core of the gospel is John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” So, all our credentials are worthless unless the blood of Yeshua validates our worthiness. Consider this: “If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?” ps 130:3 nkjv Paul speaks to the arrogance and hardheartedness of the wicked… in Romans, with this salient comment: Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Rom 2:4 nkjv Is there anything in our hearts or past that is hindering our peace and favor with Yahweh? If so, here is the key to our liberty by the faithfulness of Yahweh’s graciousness. “When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah “I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah ps 32:3-5 nkjv Yahweh is long suffering and patient… we must seek restitution with Him through Yeshua’s validation of our worthiness, to purge all wickedness and iniquity from our lives, which only He can do… while we still have time: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 pet 3:9 nkjv Shalom, John |
