“Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.” ps 119:89 nkjv |
March 18, 2025 How long is forever in the Scripture above? Yeshua [Jesus] said, “ Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” jn 17:17 nkjv What Word is it? It by definition, can only be the Torah, the Law of Moses, which was the same Word that manifested the almighty in the person of Yeshua, as noted in jn 1:14, which is the Word noted in jn 1:1. This is a problem for some people; however I didn't write the Book, I’m just quoting from it… like Yeshua said, “I only do what I see the Father do…” jn 5:19. They are one in the Same. So, the forever settled Word is what it is. People do much harm to their spiritual health when they try to separate the Father and Yeshua into separate “authorities,” acting on different opinions. What does it mean to be “sanctified?” How does “truth” sanctify us? Truth is what it is whether one likes it or not. Truth is the most powerful force in the Universe… Yes, truth is a force. In fact, the nations have always feared the truth more than their natural enemies’ armies. This is because truth involves dealing with Yahweh. So: “The devout Catholic Mary, Queen of Scots, is reputed to have said, "I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe." In my estimate, this is a very wise observation. In another sense, as for the elite and tyrants of time, if truth should be allowed to escape their control, the “natives” might rise up and hang them. Fake leaders and unsavory kings like ruling in the shadow of deception, and they use lethal force to censor truth and eliminate those who have too much capacity to expose them with truth’s simple facts. All authoritarian powers make their own rules and try to fabricate explanations why up is down and down is up, and any leaked information of substance is recast and distorted, or suppressed as classified in “national security” interest… tragically, too many “sheeple” are comfortable in their smoke screen and prefer the view from under the sand, in which they immerse their head. If one has been exposed to the truth, and has not insulted the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit, the sand hole will not be a comfortable solution. In Yeshua’s time, around 30 AD/CE, His brethren were being gas-lighted by corrupt religious leaders and intimidated or threatened into submission… then by Yeshua’s simple teaching of His Father’s Word, too many questions from His truth’s revelations, was becoming a serious threat to their authority and control. Their solution was to simply kill him… although that did not work out so well for them, as the empty tomb proved truth could not be kept buried. And that gospel message spread throughout the world. Now yet today, His gospel message torments evil and causes evil men to try to censor truth and justice… and if need be, just kill the messenger. The Bible teaches us of the end-of-days narrative where evil once again accelerates its rage against His message and those who follow His truth. It is this confrontation that ends with Yahweh’s Word, the two edged sword from Yeshua’s mouth, cauterizing lies, injustice, wickedness and rebellion against truth. Truth is a light and life source. Yahweh designed it that way… remember, “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.” ps 119:89 nkjv – in other words, Truth is forever settled in heaven. Now here is the main catch with this Truth issue: You either desire to know it, and love it [obey it]; or you can try to skirt your way around it; that is deliberate procrastination… at some point, the dead end road it runs on will end. Then you will need to decide to sink or swim, no more fence ridding or double mindedness. That comes with the requirement to repent and ask Yahweh for forgiveness, and with thankfulness that He is longsuffering and gracious. By the way, you can only do this if you are alive and able to willfully make that wise choice… I caution those hesitant folks that it is a dangerous thing to leave today’s chance in tomorrow’s careless hands. Now, as we come closer to the “last days,” notice Yahweh has a thing about truth and those who take liberty to ignore it and disdain it. Consider Paul’s warning to the church at Thessalonica: “ The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 thes 2:9-12 nkjv I think this scripture should really frighten anyone who chances to tinker with Yahweh’s seriousness about HIS TRUTH… it is saying these people did not receive a love for His Word [Truth]. In case you missed it, it IS Yahweh Himself who is doing this; how could one escape the power of the strong delusion if Yahweh Himself is sending it… think about that. What “pleasure of unrighteousness” is hindering you from following Yeshua instead of the “lawless one?” The bottom line is that Yahweh provides for us to have our security, for our eternal destiny, founded upon an unshakable and unmovable “three legged stool,” if I may use that example: One leg is the Torah [Law of Moses] proclaimed directly from Yahweh at Mt. Sinai, the second leg is the gift from Yahweh, His only begotten SON, Yeshua, and the third leg is His divine Holy Spirit given to us shortly following Yeshua’s ascension, called Pentecost. Do you have a good understanding of each of these vital components of your anchor in the stormy sea of lawless society that we live in? The truth is, Yeshua and your relationship to Him and His love for you, is the central key to finding your place in the destiny Yahweh determined for you in the beginning… Take His hand and follow His leading, and you will never walk alone, nor will the evil one be able to deceive you into lawless pleasures of unrighteousness. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” rom 6:23 nkjv Shalom, John |
