Yahweh does not mince words… In the Prophet Malachi’s writings, He clearly admonishes these wayward and disobedient “Sons of Jacob.” In fact, Malachi is the last book in the “Old Testament.” [protestant cannon]. Yahweh seems to “silence” further prophetic messages for the next 400 years [intertestamental period].

Then, in mal 3:16-18 nkjv, we read:

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on [esteem] His name. 17 “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” 18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.”

Malachi closes his book with two “listen up people” warnings:

1) “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. 3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts.”  mal 4:1-3 nkjv

2) “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”  mal 4:4-6 nkjv

Do you remember Yahweh’s words above? “For I am the Lord, I do not change;…”

Fast forward… Consider Yeshua’s confrontations with the religious authorities of His day (corrupt temple priest, Pharisees, political hacks… much like today). They disputed His Lordship and authority; a good description is in John chapter 6. In that example, these were some of His words for that bout:

“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.” jn 6:44-47 nkjv  AND, in another place…

“Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?” jn 7:16-19 nkjv  AND, in another place…

“Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”  jn 12:44-50 nkjv

Now, for a cross check… Who is Yeshua? First read and carefully consider the implications of John 1:1-14 nkjv…

We could write it in equation form as:

The WORD in the beginning = Yeshua [vs 14] = Yeshua is Yahweh [GOD]

The WORD [Yeshua/Yahweh] NEVER changes, Remember… mal 3:6

The WORD [Yeshua and ALL He represents] is forever settled in Heaven ps 119:89

The WORD [Yeshua] is “the same yesterday, today, and forever,” heb 13:8

Yeshua… The WORD - LAW/TORAH is eternal, mat 5:17-18

Know this: There is NO variance between the Torah given at Mt. Sinai, and Yeshua; One was “codified” at Mt. Sinai, and later Yeshua was “codified” as the incarnate WORD… in the flesh.

The world [carnal man] hates The Torah and Yeshua… no fixing this.

Yeshua, is THE “Lawgiver” [Rule maker]… causing the world to hate the WORD.

Any word or any opposition to Yeshua/Torah is the spirit of anti-Christ.

These facts and eternal truths are our foundation and salvation in any confrontation with evil. Yeshua is our Savior… the ONLY way to salvation. His WORD/TORAH is our safety net and pathway through the last days tribulation test and trials. He said, if you love me, keep my commandments… and we are told “obedience is greater than sacrifice.” The Torah reveals the person of Yeshua… any other descriptions of Him are called “false Christ.” Yeshua warned us they would come… if we hear Malachi’s final words we will prevail… “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.” We must remember… its all about Israel, if you are “grafted on,” you are part of Israel [see rom chapter 11]. Yeshua is the only Vine, and we grafted on believers are the branches. The Torah is called the “tree of life,” and Yeshua is that tree. If we be in Christ [Yeshua], we are Abraham’s seed and Heirs to the covenant [promises], gal 3:29.

Shalom, John

“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”   1jn 2:3-6 nkjv
