“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.”   ps 89:14 nkjv

February 7, 2023

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.”

“2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” isa 59:1-3 nkjv

When the ancient people of Israel, once the pleasure [apple] of Yahweh’s eye, became vile and corrupt, from the Priesthood down thru the common peasant… their days of favor and prosperity in Yahweh’s blessings were soon to end. These scathing words of rebuke from the Prophet Isaiah fell upon deaf ears. Hedonism and paganism had become the desire and pursuit of the people who were once favored by Yahweh. One might ask, what caused this or how did this happen? Could not the same questions be asked of our modern society. We once were a God fearing people, most with some measure of common respect for Biblical values and most practiced moral discipline.

In our times, the folly and perversion reported in the daily news, and the open public display of vile and lewd lifestyles grow only more despicable with each passing day. We live in a cesspool of immorality and corruption in government and business practices, and in greedy and selfish habits openly visible from too many individual households. I pray Yahweh will somehow preserve the children that must endure these habitations, including the disgusting educational institutions commonly in teamwork with the devil’s minions at work in their ranks.

Truth, justice, righteousness and godly moral behavior towards Yahweh and other people are rarely exhibited anywhere around us today… judgment, such as Isaiah proclaimed upon the “people of God,” in his day, is just around the corner from where we live. Here is what Isaiah goes on to say:

“No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.” Isa 59:4 nkjv

“Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.” Isa 59:14 nkjv

I propose that Truth is indestructible [Yahweh’s Word], albeit, men try to censor it, abolish it, dilute it, pervert it, override it, and on and on… but it can’t be changed or destroyed. It seems to run its course throughout human history, yet always rising to its place of power to begin another cycle. Justice, on the other hand, can be more easily corrupted, twisted, perverted, delayed, and generally mauled into versions useful to the ruling elite… nothing new in human history.

The problem the rulers of darkness have is that Yahweh saw this endless cycle of corruption from the beginning… making plans to give us the Messiah Yeshua, Truth in the flesh, and His Holy Spirit, about whom Yeshua said in the book of John:

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” jn 16:7-11 nkjv

Shortly after Yeshua had his “last supper” with his disciples, knowing the soon coming confusion that they would encounter, He spoke these words:

“Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? 32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” jn 16:31-33 nkjv

I think we need to foresee the coming confusion [and scattering] that all believers will be facing in this world that hates truth, and those who proclaim and live by it… the same evil people that hate truth will deny righteous justice to all believers as well… Our focus and hope must be in Yeshua and His words, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

I am referencing here, another short article concerning persecution [tribulation]… I hope you will take time to read it.

Shalom, John
