| "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." mat 24:37 nkjv

November 8, 2022 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” 1Jn 2:15-17 nkjv The “Last Days” are certainly closer upon us than they have been upon any of our ancestors… you hear people say, “people have been saying these are the last days forever, it's no different now than it has ever been.” Well, there is going to be a “last generation” just as it was in the days of Noah: “And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.” gen 7:1 kjv Yeshua (Jesus) likewise spoke of the “last generation” to his followers, just before His Crucifixion: “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” mat 24:34 kjv In both these events, there was disaster to come… not the kind of disaster associated with a terrorist attack or national conflict (war)… this was (and is) related to a divine judgment event. Yeshua clearly defines this as follows: “But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” mat 24:37-39 kjv The people of Noah's day were oblivious to the coming judgment… probably were saying similar things like: “people have been saying these are the last days forever, it's no different now than it has ever been.” But, suddenly… their “last days” were upon them. It was because of the sins of the people of Noah's day that their days ended… it will be for the same reason that our “last days” will come to an end… there is more from Yeshua, His Mt Olive discourse is a famous section of Biblical prophecy (and warning), you need to read it for context, it is Matthew Chapter 24, and Luke Chapter 21. In Luke Chapter 21, Yeshua prophesied of future mass confusion and perplexity among people and nations… saying, men's hearts will be failing for fear of the things going on, and coming. He speaks of Nation rising up against Nation, and kingdom against kingdom… both the natural and spiritual realms are in conflict. The press of evil men's agendas, against the moral and just commandments of the Tohra and Yeshua's teachings, is becoming more destructive on a daily basis. The NWO (new world order) is pressing towards social, economic, and religious dominance… all to be organized and controlled by their planned interest... These powers of darkness have been re-defining our thinking (namely by twisting what our understanding of words and moral perspective is/was previously defined to be). The masses of humanity have lost their way, just as the Bible has informed us. The “love of the world,” is driven by the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, and is marketed to us daily by the powers of darkness. Sin has impounded the multitudes in its illusion yielding corrupted souls, about whom Paul tells Timothy: “unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! ” 2tim 3:3-5 nkjv The antidote for sin is repentance, restoration to Yahweh’s Word, and steadfast “hand in hand” walk with Yeshua… He is our everlasting foundation of hope and the holder of our destiny. To encourage you, please let me suggest you carefully read Psalms chapter 37, and think about what is the difference between the righteous and wicked. We must never loose sight of the coming day of total deliverance of all things when Yeshua returns to establish His Kingdom, because there really is a “last generation.” Shalom… John |
“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Rev 21:1-2 nkjv) |
