“Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” gen 12:1-3 nkjv

These are profound words… spoken by Yahweh directly to Abraham (Abram at that time). Here Yahweh reveals His plan to consecrate to Himself a specific place on earth, and a special group of people, and through them, He would establish His earthly Kingdom of God; which would perpetuate, through Moses and the Torah given him, and through Yeshua’s coming, ministry, sacrificial death, resurrection, ascension and return, and until He [Yeshua] thereby establishes the 7th [Seventh] and final covenant, the Covenant of Peace. Yeshua will usher in that millennial kingdom age.

Understand here, that THIS PLAN, is Yahweh’s ONLY plan, by which He will deal with men, from this promise to Abram [Abraham] henceforth. We will learn later in Gal 3:29, that “if we be in Christ [Yeshua] we are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the Covenant Promise" of gen 15:18-20.

This past weekend, our weekly Torah portion is taken from Gen 12:1-17:27. It is one of my favorite Sabbath teachings of the Torah… and for certain, in divine jurisprudence, it is the absolute and eternal declaration of Sovereign Israel [the land] for all times. Also, the Bible is very clear WHO the land’s [Israel’s] rightful occupiers and inheritors are, and are to come.

Tragically, the world disputes these eternal facts; even more tragically, post modern Christianity (for the most part) is misinformed and woefully ignorant of these vividly clear Biblical teachings… erroneously embracing and promoting falsehoods instilled in them by their institutional religious dogmas and man-made “doctrines of men.” It was the same in Yeshua’s day:

“These people draw near to Me [Yeshua/Torah in the flesh] with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” mat 15:8-9 nkjv

The turmoil of our times, over the simple truths above, (which I believe is fomented by demonic influence on wicked men) is boiling over into a minimum of widespread regional conflict… and perhaps world wide chaos… possibly even WW3… I hope you understand the madness [demonic] irrational thinking and selfish interest, fueled by unsatiable emotions that lie buried in men’s lunacy from ages of tribal, racial, national, and ethnic grudges and ill-conceived grievances. This “sea and waves” of the sea of humanity, roaring with unsolvable issues was clearly one of the last days events Yeshua spoke of in His describing the things to come in His Olivet Discourse…

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” luk 21:25-26 nkjv

It is a very dangerous thing to push Yahweh to His limit… i.e., the violence and debauchery of human flesh, and fallen angelic tinkering with humankind (think transhumanism in our day), was the tripwire over which men stumbled, that caused the flood of Noah’s day. It is notable that the Hebrew word for “violence,” in gen 6:11-13, Strong’s h2555, is “hamas.” Sound familiar? It seems that violence had metastasized into “normal,” and corruption was everywhere. It may be that, now, Yahweh will let devastation come to wicked violent men because of their treatment of Israel [land] and of His beleaguered people. Consider these warning scriptures:

 “The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” zac 12:1-3 nkjv

It is likely the above scripture is for a bit later in our “timeline,” but you can observe from the tone of it, that even unto the end of days, messing with Yahweh’s plans for Israel, the land and people, (who are the rightful inheritors of the land) is a sure tripwire for catastrophic repercussions upon those who willfully disregard Yahweh’s orders.
