“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” rom 8:5 nkjv  “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” rom 8:6-8 nkjv

If you read these Bible verses above, and tarry in the message and listen to the Holy Spirit's counsel you… You will know there are only two positions; one is life and the other is death. Whichever one you commit your life to [in this life] is your destiny… preferably, eternal life in the presence of Yeshua and the Saints of the family of Yahweh; or tragically, otherwise you are condemned to the place of eternal darkness and miserable suffering as the Bible clearly explains. I pray you will not put off your decision for “life,” as no decision is the choice of death. The distinction is that in the life Yahweh predetermined for us, is that we become fellow heirs with Yeshua, our Redeemer Kinsman, by faith in His redeeming love, by His shed blood, and by His grace, we are “grafted onto,” the vine [tree/Israel of GOD].

When Paul speaks of the fleshly mind [carnal, natural human thinking], he refers to the fallen state all of us have been naturally born into. When born again, by confessing Yeshua [Jesus] as our savior and Lord, repenting [truly turning away from and forsaking our old carnal nature], and putting on the new man “in Christ,” we join ranks with, are adopted into, the “My people” of God… we become part of the Israel of God, and begin our new journey of learning how to walk in the Spirit, not after the flesh/carnal mind… we are then “new creations,” in the Kingdom of God.

This simple truth is not rocket science, Yahweh made it clear enough for even a child to understand… that is if we, as a little child trusts his parents [in an naturally God fearing family], we simply trust Yeshua’s Lordship in our life. In order for this devotional to become more meaningful and to give much more clarity to [who are] the actual/only “My people” of Yahweh, as He has set it in place, with no secondary or partial exceptions, I have linked [this special article] to examine this Biblical truth much more fully.
