| “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” rom 8:1 nkjv

October 12, 2021 “The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.” ps 34:22 nkjv As we see the divine sand-dial emptying its granular past, signifying that we are near the end of the age of man, just as Yeshua [Jesus] described all this in Matthew 24, and Luke 21, Paul also told Timothy that “perilous times” would come, in language like this: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2Tim 3:1-5 nkjv [my note: “form of godliness,” dead religious traditions and disobedient lifestyles, not obeying the Holy Commandments [Scripture] and fashioning themselves a “god to suit their interest,” thereby they “deny the power” of the Divine Creator to deliver them and save them from the hour of darkness coming upon the earth.] “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” rom 8:9-11 nkjv The context of this devotional is understanding that Rom 8:1 nkjv, above, defines one as either in condemnation [living fleshly lifestyle], or saved from sin’s power to condemn them… only if they are walking according to the Spirit. The following scriptures are profound, likely a picture of society under Anti-Christ persecution… the upside is that those walking in the Spirit will overcome the worst of it all. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” rom 8:31-36 nkjv My note: take careful notice that “ tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword…” are ALL out of the control of believers… Yahweh [GOD] alone takes responsibility for their affect upon our lives, how He allows them to effect us is His business; our part is to “walk in the Spirit, trust Him as noted in Ps 34:22 nkjv above. Now Paul makes this glorious proclamation that is cause for our rejoicing, even in the midst of the storm. “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 8:37-39 nkjv It is of special interest to me that the Greek word for “created thing,” can mean Divinely created, or significantly important… man created; transhuman, modified AI, or even a “gene vaccine” that would attack our God created DNA… Praise God forever; His Love for us is unending and inseparable from our faithful hope in Him holding our destiny in His capable hands, and our enemies can not condemn us. Shalom... John |
