Thank you for reviewing our September-October 2020 Current Events Update. I include the following subject content, with supporting articles and links.
My commentary makes reference to articles believed to be accurate, intellectually honest, factual and informative… I share, herein, news and general information from other websites and sources. I DO NOT share this as a subtle or covert attempt to express my opinion, merely to say “this is happening and I think it’s important to be aware of it.” In this regard, just because I share news or information from other sources doesn’t mean that I think you should agree with me, or it; test everything by the Bible as a source for truth.
"How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word." (Ps 119:9) The following notes/comments are from page 694, of “The New Open Bible” (Study Edition), New King James Version, from Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, TN. 119:9 God’s Word Cleanses- One of the pieces of furniture in the Old Testament tabernacle was called the bronze laver (Page 111-Ex. 38:8). It consisted of a huge upright bronze bowl filled with water, resting upon a pedestal. The Priests would often stop at this laver and wash. The Word of God may be thought of in terms of that laver, for it too has the power to cleanse. The Old Testament laver could only remove the physical dirt from human hands, but the Scriptures possess the ability to take away our moral filth (Page 1479- 1 Pet. 1:22). “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (Page 1494- 1 John 1:9). What areas of my life can the Bible cleanse? It can cleanse me from wrong thoughts. Sometimes we are tempted to think critically of others; God’s word can prevent this (Page 625- Ps. 1:2). On other occasions fearful thoughts may race through our minds; the Scriptures will prevent this also (Page 252- Josh. 1:8). In fact, the Bible will establish our total thought-life if we but allow it to do so (Page1402- Phil.4:8,9; Page 1487- 2 Pet. 1:5-10). It can cleanse me from wrong words. Of all the Bible authors, James seems to be God’s expert on the sins of the human tongue. In the first chapter of his book, he deals with this very thing and show the absolute necessity of dependence upon the Scriptures to keep our words true (Page 1468- James 1:22-26). See also Psalm 119:172. It can cleanse me from wrong actions. Jesus promised us this would be the case: “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you” (Page 1258- John 15:3). Finally, God’s Word will keep us from wrong thoughts, words, and actions; or else wrong thoughts, words, and actions will keep us from God’s Word. [End of quotation] What is so important about all this? It is that “words,” are such an integral part of our humanity… especially God’s words. Yahweh (God) chose to create us to use words to be able to express our thoughts, feelings, emotions, intentions and about everything else to communicate. Man, human beings, are the only created beings that Yahweh allowed to express spiritual identity using words. Our words along with other body “English” and animated gestures are quite powerful… Remember, it was the “words,” or languages, that Yahweh “divided” at the Tower of Babel incident… Gen. 11:1-9. In fact, Yeshua (Jesus) said. “...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (Mat 12:34) Yeshua also said, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” (Mat. 12:37). Our words express and reveal our true spiritual condition, and will determine our eternal destiny. We must labor to line up our words with Yeshua’s words and ways. It is of utmost significance to understand that it was by the “spoken” Word of Yahweh that all creation was brought about… The writer of Hebrews (1:3) says, “...He upholds all things by the Word of His Power.” By now we should be getting the idea that “words” are very important, more clearly into focus. Yahweh’s Word is the substance and foundation of everything that matters to us, Col. 1:15-18… more important than anything else, period. The fact that Yahweh created man with the ability to use words as a creative force (for good or for bad), unfortunately, is not really recognized or understood by so many… especially those outside the Biblical perspective. It is, however, understood fully by the wicked powers of darkness… thus the eternal battle to keep man from the soul cleansing Word of Yahweh… and keep man profaning himself with self-condemning words of destructive force against himself and others. To better understand the cleansing power and efficaciousness, of the “Word of the Lord,” as the writer of Psalms 119 breaks it down in seven words, used in that chapter to explain it, you will be fully informed by reading further here. As an important note of interest, Psalms Chapter 119 is a stand alone expression and formulation of the WORD of God working in a person’s life… it is an amazing mirror into which one can gaze and see the measure of their triumphs and failures in life… and provides all the cures for our faults, and hope for our future… it is a place of rest for the soul and peace for the heart. And as another extremely important fact, to be grasped, studied and understood fully, is that Yeshua (Jesus) IS the WORD (Torah of Yahweh) that “became” flesh… (John 1:1-14). Yeshua’s name means “Salvation.” Saying it another way, Yeshua, the Word that became flesh, was crucified, at the hands of evil men (under the influence of the Devil)… they mistakenly thought they had “silenced” the Messiah and his redemptive assignment to be Savior of the world… and that now they had disposed of the WORD that had judged them guilty and unto ultimate destruction in Gen. 3:14-15. Three days later they would be horrified at the sight of the risen Savior, who had set all the captives free, then and forever thereafter… The WORD had faithfully prevailed in the darkest hour... now move the clock ahead 2000 years (Yahweh’s calendar). This brings us to a very important juncture in human history. I believe we are in the last days prior to the starting of the tribulation times we read of in the Bible, namely as thoroughly discussed in the Book of Revelation. Yahweh has “appointed times” that He is faithful in keeping on schedule, in His time and in His way. Prophetically speaking, many eschatology studies point to the “Seven Years” of man (or the understanding that “a day to the LORD is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day” 2 Pet. 3:8). Based upon the creation week, the “times of man” are one thousand years per day. On the seventh day, Yahweh established the Sabbath, He rested from all His work of the previous six days. Likewise, after 6,000 years of man, with all Yahweh’s enemies destroyed and the tribulation period ended (seven actual calendar years of tribulation), will begin the first day of the 7,000th year, the Millennial reign of King Yeshua will begin. So then, just where are we on Yahweh’s calendar today (now, this being written October 2020)… I believe we are knocking on the door of chaos, the beginning of Sorrows, just prior to the start of the seven year tribulation period. Yeshua explained all this to His disciples in the New Testament books/chapters of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21… I will not repeat the details here, except to say, no other time in world history has qualified Biblically, nor has the world had the potential nor the circumstances suitable for this chain of events and upheaval, with the chaos and turbulence of social upheaval and spiritual deception and wickedness boiling over worldwide… Yeshua described it as “in the days of Noah.” Yahweh tells us of the time of Noah in Genesis Chapter 6, and how wicked mankind had become… in verse 3, He said, “...that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Because of the vacuum (created by the rebellion against Yahweh’s order) the WORD of God was trampled under foot of evil men, including fallen angels who appeared to have wrought and all kinds of corruption of the natural order of created life… of man and beast. The extra-biblical book of Enoch goes into great detail of this evil time, and fills in lots of blanks that are not detailed in our Protestant bibles… just to be knowledgeable of the probable authentic record of historic events, in this book, Yeshua’s brother Jude quoted from its text, and Wikipedia notes the following: “The Book of Enoch was considered as scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (16:4) and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras, Clement of Alexandria, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.” Whatever position you wish to take to view the days of Noah… It was so bad according to Yahweh, that He destroyed everything that breathed the air of life… all life with breath in its nostrils. The real conflict in our world today is the battle for the TRUTH. The Bible defines truth as “God’s Word.” Everything in the world is at odds with Yahweh, and His WORD. Evil powers are pushing misinformation, half-truths, outright lies, and false teaching and fake news, and utter absurdities are being unloaded upon us from every media and communication outlet in existence. Nothing is being considered as “off the table,” for obtaining the objectives of the Globalists, using their proxies of social media, immoral entertainment filth, terrorism, Marxism, social justice warriors, cultural enriches, man-made pandemics, fear mongering of the environmental issues, and corrupt officials and educators who work relentlessly corrupting our children from the first grade of their educations. In a recent, previous post, I wrote of the world being a dangerous place, you can review it here. Perhaps the most important proxies they have are the apostate religious institutions and “unholy men” warping the minds of people (mainly the people listen to the preaching and they do not read and study their Bibles). This is a horrific tragedy, in my opinion. The idea is to drive the people into a stupor… these mind-control techniques have been laboratory tested and refined to stress people’s minds to the submission point, one way or another. In a nutshell, all these wicked works are demonic and under the sway of the spirit of Anti-Christ… again, just as foretold in the Book of Revelation. We are only one step away from a lock-down of the greatest magnitude... that being the roll-out of a digital currency (i.e. FedCoin) and an electronic system that will tie your every movement to your financial “allowance,” healthcare and personal movement (restricted travel, like in China now)… all this based upon your “cooperation credit.” I’m not kidding, this is now the normal life in China’s major population areas… some of it is in play in India as well. Sweden has nearly done away with it’s cash system, nearly all electronic. There is a real connection between a "cashless society" and the Covid-19 pandemic and planned vaccines. You probably knew all the above anyway… what is our most important take away? It is to lock our hearts and minds onto the Cleansing Power of The Word of God… we need to hose down our minds with the Holy Word of Yahweh, worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, and pray for one another… and get our hearts fixed upon the only one who can deliver us from this insane mad-house we have to live in. Otherwise, we will be like the proverbial frog in a pan of water being gradually warmed up until he is cooked for a meal... People today just don’t know the power of the words that they are consuming, and they don’t know that the words they are using and saying, confessing unknowingly, that these same words are being drilled into their mind as facts and truth and it is not so… because any words opposing Yahweh’s ways are from Hell. The question is how do you get a person to take inventory of their knowledge base… when so much of it is scrambled. It seems to me we need a heap of Yahweh’s intervention, some way, to break into the firewalls of the delusional world these people (most people) live in. I think that only the Holy Spirit is able to reach these confused “sheeple,” and that we must be attentive to the inner unction of the Holy Spirit to be willing and available to share the simple message of the Gospel, nothing preachy or complex. Paul wisely said, “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.” (1 Cor. 1:17). [emphasis mine] It is the same power of the Cross of Christ, today, as it was in Paul’s day, that can break the firewalls of wicked powers that suppress and keep people in spiritual blindness. I think we must pray for this end and watch and act when opportunity comes. Probably, multitudes of people are starving for the liberty of the Gospel, they just need someone to shine it’s truth in their direction. Going back to the beginning of this article: “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word. (Ps 119:9)” How will “a young man cleanse his way,” who does not even know he needs cleansing? Worse yet, maybe that young man likes his miserable sinful state… As noted above, we need to pray to break the power of sin’s delusional grip on these individuals… Then there are many who simply are floating down the river of life in a polluted state, tinkering with their digital master, looking for hedonistic indulgences, again, only the work of the Holy Spirit can awaken these people to their apostate condition, and we need to pray for their deliverance May Yahweh lead each of us into someone’s life, hopefully many “someone’s,” that we can share these truths with. It is also true, I think, that Yahweh may (for He surely can) bring people to the Cross alone, just on His act of Grace and lovingkindness (which The Bible says leads men to repentance). Then we can likewise help disciple them along to solid footing in their faith. When I look around me in this chaotic world, I know this is the time Yeshua spoke of when He said, “….The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Luk. 10:2). How about us: When Isaiah was commissioned, it was like this: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”” (Isa 6:8).
