First: Thank you for reviewing our July 2017 Current Events Update.

We have just passed the Summer Solstice… hard to believe six months of 2017 have already passed by… I guess when you get older you think time is moving along faster!

For the July Current Events Update materials I have chosen to focus on the “Times we Live in,” and I want to tie together our modern spiritual climate, as it relates the dynamics of our culture and morality (or lack of), and the relationship it has to the Second Coming of our Messiah Yeshua.

So often my studies of Scripture come around to, “as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.” (Luke 17:26-27 KJV)… “Likewise, also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.” (Luke 17:28-29 KJV)

In other words… they (people living at that time), thought everything was “business as usual,” everything to them was just another day… but then, suddenly… God's Judgment fell upon them.

Now, when Yeshua (Jesus) was among the folks in His day; they did not understand the time of His visitation; and, upon His celebrated entrance into Jerusalem, just prior to His execution, He lamented over the city:

[Luke 19:41-44 KJV] 41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Today, tragically, most of the world does not know of the coming “visitation” of Yeshua… which we call the “Second Coming.” It will not be like His First Coming, it will be a tragic and woeful event to those who live their lives in the squalor of sin and careless indulgences… (2Th 2:7-12 KJV) especially in those nations and places where God has provided so many opportunities for people to know, and where there has been so much prosperity and availability of the Gospel of the Bible concerning how we should live thankful and orderly lifestyles. This brings us to the subject of “repentance.”

The decline in the “moral character” of our society, as defined by Biblical terms, is resulting in our degradation to that of the likeness of ancient Rome and Greece. Basically, the word Paganism will nicely define the modern culture as we slide down the slippery slope to Sodom… the connection to the two articles above is “repent” or otherwise God's Judgment will be unleashed upon us. Now, the method will (I think) not resemble a Global Flood or Fire and Brimstone from Heaven (yet). I think we will suffer rapidly increasing chaos and social upheaval (likely starting with economic collapse and civil unrest). We are surrounded by unfriendly lethal enemies with modern armies, we have been invaded by foreign agents who want to kill us, and internally, we are infested with leftist-radical political elements that want to undermine and eventually overthrow our Nationalism/Constitution. Make no mistake about this, it is an outworking of demonic influence on men, most of whom do not have a clue as to who is really driving their interests.

Yeshua said, “a house dived will not stand.” (Mat 12:25 KJV) Civil upheaval will soon come if things do not change. By change I do not mean winning politically, I mean repentance… like in [2 Ch 7:14 KJV].

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Personally, I do not see this happening from what appears to be the trend “on our way to Rome.”

So, then, “can we know when Yeshua (Jesus) will return?” [Prophecy News Watch article]

And, “will we see Yeshua return – What is the Last Generation?” [Koinonia House article]

Daily, in our National news and government business, we seem to be overloaded with Fake News and unprecedented distortion of facts; We have a President, who some say did not win the “popular vote.” But this President has stated the “popular vote” was distorted by illegal voters… It seems now that an independent study proves he is probably right:

Who can you trust, who do you believe… is Washington a “deep state” citadel of corruption? Does it really matter which political party occupies the oval office? Do we live in times when a President is simply a “puppet” in the hands of the shadow government? Given the fact that most of us are suspicious of the agenda of the CFR (Counsel of Foreign Relations) and the Bilderberg agenda, why has President Trump appointed so many of them to positions in his administration?

What is the Trump appointed Department of Homeland Security, John Kelly, trying to achieve by going soft on Muslim-Islamic terrorism during this past Ramadan? Are we going to see the same old pat answer that Islam is being misrepresented by a radical element… running for cover by naming it an “Internet” issue that needs regulating, and naming Christian and Jewish factions as troublesome too?

Chuck Baldwin asks some hard questions and makes some scary observations: His observations and opinion on; “America Closing In On Civil And Global War.”

The “double-dog-dare you war escalation” Cat and Mouse insanity (between the Global Banksters, AKA US and team London-Europe vs Russia-Iran and Syria collation), being demonstrated in the Syrian war theater has taken a dangerous turn with the target shooting episodes of the last few days… latest crazy response by the Russians using a S-300 missile for obliteration of a $240 million dollar US Global Hawk Drone over the Mediterranean Sea is very disturbing.

With the US Destroyer Fitzgerald, and a large cargo freighter, coming to the same intersection on the open seas… imagine that, causing a shipwreck that took the lives of 7 US Navy crew members, are we to believe the nonsensical drivel responses now being released… in order for such a monumental mistake, both ship's crews were all either drunk or asleep… anyone who has ever been in the navigation room of a large modern ship (especially a modern warship) knows fully well this did not just happen as an accident… what are they not telling us? What were they involved in that has caused the US Navy to muzzle the sailors? This is a big deal and a dangerous event.

Given all the madness and uncertainty of our day (Yeshua called it “perplexity” in Luke 21:25 KJV), we need to hold fast to what YHWH has declared in HIS Word… “Trusting God as Freedom Fades,” article by Kjos Ministries.

When I wrote the article “Who are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse?” in 2003, I tried to share the insight I felt YHWH had given me concerning these last days events… I hope you will consider reading it (again if you remember reading it before). It is about Rev 6:1-8 KJV… Chapter 6 has a lot to say about the opening of the 7 seals of the book… I think all the first four seals are “in play.” Maybe even the fifth, at least some part of it. And, I think we are near the opening of the sixth seal… you (we) will NOT like the opening of the sixth seal… there has never, heretofore, ever been anything like it.

This July 2017 update has a focus on “the times we live in,” and it seems that much, if not all, of what Yeshua said in Mat 24:4-8 KJV about “all these things must come to pass...” is being fulfilled in our generation… are we that “last generation?”
