Israel… The Land and the People Are One

(By: John K Johnson)

The Bible is a very precise literary document. It says what it means, and it means what it says; however, many men and institutions have misquoted it, misrepresented its content, twisted it out of context, allegorized it, spiritualized its direct meaning, and even purposely reconstructed its teachings to suit their own vested interest; and finally, men and institutional religion have both added to what it says and taken away what it includes (a direct violation of Deuteronomy 12:32)… and then there is the Evil One… who simply questions and refutes what the Bible actually says... appealing to man’s carnal temperament. Case in point: in the Garden of Eden, with the serpent’s temptation of Eve, the Bible documents the devil’s questioning of YHVH’s instruction to Adam and Eve that they should NOT partake of one certain tree in the Garden: “The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.” The devil’s question was, “…Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” [Gen 3:1] (KJV) Note: (YHVH/YHWH, the Tetragrammaton, or Yahweh, the Hebrew name for God… usually translated as LORD; we will use God’s Hebrew name, which He used some 6,000 times plus to refer to Himself).

Next, after Eve’s response, that they could eat of every tree except for the tree that was in the midst of the garden… lest they die for doing so… the devil refutes Yahweh’s instructions (Torah/Word; Torah means “instruction” and is normally translated as “law” in modern Bibles, and codified at Mt. Sinai as the 5 books of Moses); and in Genesis 3:4 he [devil] says, “Ye shall not surely die:” and proceeds to further corrupt Yahweh’s purpose for man and his relationship with a faithful Creator; which relationship, if to be equally reciprocated, man must likewise be faithful to his Creator (meaning man would do what is required of him… not simply know about it; otherwise no “faith” exists). This is why Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden… they were commanded to “dress and keep” it [Gen 2:15], which duties included keeping it from being corrupted (profaned); in other words… keep it Holy, because it is where Yahweh walked and communed with them. Of course, following his successful profaning of Yahweh’s instructions to the first couple (Adam & Eve), the serpent has not gone off into retirement; quite the contrary, his evil undermining continues yet today working against the instructions that Yahweh later gave us [Israel], known as “the Torah,” that Yeshua (Yahweh’s “strong right arm”) gave Moses at Mt. Sinai; which Psalms 119:89 declares, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (KJV). [To this, if we listen to today’s “Torahless church” voices around us, we can still hear the question: “Yea, hath God said, that OLD book still applies to you…?] Yes! This means it yet applies to the here and now (Today, if you will)… and it namely applies to “Israel,” so the question is: WHO is Israel? [An Israelite, Biblically] is one who looks to Yeshua for Salvation, has repented, forsaken their sins, and looks to the Torah for instruction for living out the “faithfulness” of their faith in Yahweh, embracing the empowerment of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh in Hebrew)… explained more thoroughly below.

Remember the Bible is very precise; the God of the Bible (Yahweh) is the God of Israel and unequivocally and especially so as far as His covenants and promises are concerned. Yes, Yahweh is “LORD of ALL;” however, although He is the Creator and God of Heaven and Earth, He is very precise in defining WHO are “HIS” people and “WHO” He will be a “God” (Elohim) to. As far as the scriptures reveal, and equally instruct, there are only two groups of people… group one is [Israel], group two is [the Nations]. The later “Nations” is referred to as gentiles as well. Within historical Israel, there is [faithful Israel] and [unfaithful Israel]. This said, if any man will be in covenant with and a partaker of the specific Biblical covenants and promises of Yahweh, that man must come to that relationship by being a Biblical “Israelite.” To be a Biblical Israelite, one must understand they are helplessly and hopelessly lost without a Savior (Yeshua, Son of God is the only Savior); and that they must come to salvation by being “grafted” onto/into the “tree” of [Israel] who’s root and stem is Yeshua (thoroughly explained in Romans Chapters 9-10-11, by Paul the Apostle). For one to be “saved,” they must confess with their mouth that Yeshua is their one and only Savior and they must believe in their heart that Yahweh raised Yeshua from the dead and that He alone can save them. Now, this includes the person wanting salvation understanding that they must forsake their sins (any transgression of the Torah is sin; 1 John 3:4). This is called repentance (turning back to the commands or teachings of Yahweh as the Hebrew mind sees it in its original meaning). Now, one must understand that there is only ONE definition of Yahweh’s instructions, and that is His Word… The Torah Word given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. The Torah is the “dictionary” of all the succeeding and remaining books of the Bible (and of any other commentary considered). The Torah is the nonnegotiable and undisputable way it is… remember, we started out saying that the Bible is very precise. No one, nor any institution, has any God given authority to redefine, to add to, or take from the instructions of the Torah. All such practice is called profaning the text (destroying the Torah in the ancient Hebrew mindset). This is the practice of the Nicolaitanes (Rev 2:6 and 2:15); namely, they combined pagan practices with Torah practice according to “Smith’s Bible Dictionary.” Upholding the Torah is called obedience and faithfulness. There are two important Proverbs concerning this thought:

Prov 28:4

“They that forsake the law (Torah) praise the wicked: but such as keep the law (Torah) contend with them.”KJV

Prov 28:9

“He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law (Torah), even his prayer shall be abomination.”KJV

In the “New” Testament (which should read “renewed covenant” when understood contextually from Jer 31:31-34 and Heb 8:8-13) Yeshua, author of the Torah, admonishes all believers: “If you love me, keep My Commandments.” (John 14:15)… “Keep” Greek>English, Strong’s #5083, means to guard, keep or preserve… essentially the same as the Hebrew word means… like when Yahweh told Adam to “dress and keep” the Garden.

What about the Land [Israel]?

Sometime around 1950 BCE (before the common era, about 3900-4000 years ago), Yahweh established an everlasting relationship between Himself and Abraham and “Abraham’s Seed” [Israel], whereby and forever and for all times… that a certain piece of Planet Earth would be a special place, title deed held by God Himself, and that on that piece of land a people [Israel] would dwell as the “people of God.” Israel was to possess the land, keep it (as in the Garden, and keep it a certain way… according to the Torah, and that it was not to be sold or otherwise disposed of). In fact, the Bible is also very specific concerning which of the 12 tribes (12 sons of Jacob, the origin of the 12 tribes) would settle in what location, and what their specific borders would be. This is detailed explicitly in the book of Joshua, Chapters 13-22. The following Bible passages clearly explain the intent and possession rights that Yahweh established.

Gen 12:1-7

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. 7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.” KJV

Gen 13:14-17

14 “And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.” KJV

Gen 15:7

7 “And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.” KJV

Gen 15:18-21

18 “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.” KJV

Gen 17:7-9

7 “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.” KJV

The Hebrew word used mostly for this word “land” is Strong’s # 776 as noted below:

common, country, earth, field, ground, land, nations, way, wilderness, world.

Yahweh is jealous and protective of “His” Land:

Isa 14:24-25

24 “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: 25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.” KJV

Jer 2:7

7 “And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.”KJV

Jer 16:17-18

17 “For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. 18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.” KJV

Israel, the Land and the People are inseparable (essentially “one and the same,” more about that later) as far as Yahweh’s eternal plan and precise declarations are concerned, which have already been established (pre-determined). Notice that Israel, just because they are Yahweh’s people, DO NOT get a “free pass” for transgressing the Torah… but that after the Diaspora (scattering to the nations because they defiled the covenant and the land with sin), that Yahweh will again gather them back to again dwell in and possess THE LAND (specifically the Whole House of Israel as noted in Ezekiel Chapter 38, HIS People, not just anyone; we are talking of the covenant people as described in the introduction above). Let it be understood that NO separate “church” people or “other than” Israel, as always defined the same as in the introduction above, have ANY alternate or separate relationship to Yahweh. If you do not join in the Covenant “Commonwealth of Israel,” as Paul notes in Romans 9;10;11 previously documented… you are “outside” the relationship with Yahweh… a person of the “nations.” Likewise, “unbelieving Israel,” must repent and return to the “narrow gate” Yeshua for “regrafting,” as Paul also explains in Romans Chapter 11. Now read the following (Ezekiel Chapter 36) very carefully to understand what Yahweh thinks about “His Land” and “His People”  and “His Holy Name.”

Ezek 36:1-37:1

“Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: 2 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: 4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; 5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame. 8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. 9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: 10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: 11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men. 13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations; 14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD. 15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD. 16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman. 18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it: 19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them. 20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land. 21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. 22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. 33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. 34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. 35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. 36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. 37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. 38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” KJV

What about the People [Israel]?

Did you know that Yahweh said that Israel (returned from exile, the redeemed) would “marry the Land” [Israel]? Isaiah 62:4-5.

Isa 62:4-5

4 “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” KJV

 And… vs 12:

“And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.” KJV

Let us be warned that Yahweh places a very specific and special connection between the People [Israel] and the Land [Israel]; to Yahweh, they are one and the same. When Yahweh gathers the outcasts from the four corners of the earth, returns [Israel, all 12 tribes, not just the Jews] and the “whosoever will” people of the Nations that have been grafted into/onto the “one olive tree,” [Israel] will once again be complete as a fully restored “people of God.” In fact, ever since the original “fall” from the Garden of Eden, Yahweh has been about restoring “all things.” Now it should be duly noted that the Evil One has been watching this divine work and has been just as busy trying to hinder the “marriage” between the “People and the Land.” There has never been any other piece of real estate on the Planet that has had more blood shed over the “ownership” of the place; and there has never been any other place on the Planet where more controversy has been recorded in ink… this is not by coincidence. There has never been any other group of people more severely oppressed and persecuted than [Israel], most notably Jews and Christians.  It was the work of evil that separated the first “People from the Land,” and when the final work of Yahweh is done, it is this writer’s opinion that the end results will be one and the same as the beginning… Yahweh walking in the Garden with His People… except the devil will no longer be able to profane the People any more. Yes, this writer believes it was possible that the Garden of Eden was Israel (Jerusalem)… before the fall… as in that time, considering the boundaries may have been all the way to the Euphrates… which is the border named by Yahweh for Israel’s eastern side (Gen 15:18)… the Euphrates is one of the rivers mentioned near Eden. What was to keep the initial Eden from being geographically different, larger or even shaped different. The flood and other events could have affected things as well… and Yahweh seems to have concealed its actual location after the fall.

Now lets look at the “dirt” [Land]; as the Scriptures say when one dies the body returns to the earth (dust-land-dirt) and the spirit returns to God.

Eccl 3:20-21

20 “All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?” KJV

Gen 2:7

7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” KJV

I think there is a very good chance that Yahweh used the “dust” of the Garden of Eden to form Adam (said to mean “red earth”)… where on earth could one find “dust” more suitable? It was a “Holy Place,” presumably on Planet Earth, where Yahweh walked; it was the location of the “tree of life,” which this writer believes was “Yeshua” the same “olive tree” of Romans 11:16-24; of which the “grafted in” are the branches, and the “vine” of John 15:1-6, from which the same “people” must draw their life. Likewise, when Yahweh considers the “Messiah” (Yeshua-Jesus), the “Word” that became flesh in John Chapter 1; he sees the inseparable Torah (Word) manifested in the flesh, to example the “walk of righteousness,” in order that we can read the written Torah and observe the living Torah for defining the Truth so we will not be confused with profaned teachings of men and institutions that have always opposed the TRUTH of the Torah. Further, the Scriptures say “The Spirit IS Truth.” (1John 5:6) In the next verse, the Scripture says the three (Father, Word and Spirit) are One. So if you have the Truth of the Torah, you can know when a “spirit” is speaking if the “spoken” or “inspired” thought is Truth simply by comparing the spirit’s words or thoughts to the Torah written Word… which is forever settled.

Now, it has always been Yahweh’s intent for the “People” [Israel] to be one with the “Land” [Israel]. This is a profound thing. While it is Yahweh’s plan to unite and restore the People and the Land; it is the present day agenda (and past endeavors) of evil men to prevent Israel from returning to become a united people, thriving on their (Yahweh’s) Land. Think about it, just as Esau (in Gen Chpt 32) stood in the way to hinder Jacob’s return to Israel (Jacob’s name was later changed to “Israel”), which in essence is Israel the People returning to Israel the Land… so yet the same hindrance continues today, also done by Esau (via his descendents) and Ishmael (via his descendants), mixed people of Middle Eastern decent… i.e., Arabs and other Semites. This is vocally and emotionally expressed on world newscast weekly… with claims that they intend to “wipe” Israel off the map; or, drive Israel into the Sea… and that no peace can ensue until Israel is driven out of the Land.

The “People” [Israel] in these last days are witnesses to the “Elijah” Spirit moving throughout all the world as these “People” [Israel] are discovering who they are. These “scattered among the nations” [seeds of Abraham, physical and spiritual] people of the “faith of Abraham,” are coming to life (spiritual awakening)… just as the “dry bones” of the valley in Ezekiel Chapter 37 (where the Scripture says, “these bones are the Whole House of Israel”). They are returning to their Hebrew Roots of Torah Faith, embracing the real Savior Yeshua, and are separating themselves from ungodly mixed religious practices and false “Jesus’ that ignore the Torah’s ways,” and they are returning to the ancient paths of Biblical Truth and Biblical ways of living, worship and disciplines commanded by Yahweh… to live just as the early Apostles lived in the first part of the first century… then known as the “people of the way.” They are not people trying to become “Jews,” and floundering in “legalism,” as is so often the characterization thrown at them by the unlearned church community. Although there will be many Jews joining with them in the same truths as those fleeing the Laodicean “churches” of modern times. They are people learning the ways of the Torah and preparing their hearts and minds for the return to the Land [Israel] when Yahweh calls them home… to “marry the Land.” They are the Sons of Zion, and they are in direct confrontation with the Sons of Greece:

Zech 9:13-16

13 “When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. 14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. 15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. 16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.” KJV

Who are these Judah and Ephraim representatives? They are the faithful ones who will be joined to one House [Israel] again (the restoration of the fallen Tabernacle of David) as foretold in the book of Amos:

Amos 9:11-15

11 “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. 13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. 14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” KJV

There has never been the like of a continuous, monogamous covenant “nation/people-God relationship” with any other people as Israel the People and Israel’s God. The battle royal for the Land [Israel] is the great spiritual war that has its roots in spiritual Babylon, and its legions of demons that confront God’s People exist for the purpose of separating the People [Israel] from the Torah and the Savior/Messiah, and obstructing the restoration of the Land [Israel]… The Mt Sinai “betrothal” of the “People” [Israel] to Yahweh was hardly started until the Golden Calf was birthed to confront the consummation of the wedding. The separation of the Southern Kingdom (Judah) from the Northern Kingdom (House of Israel, 10 tribes, called Ephraim) was the “fall of the Tabernacle of David.” The coming of Yeshua, the Messiah, was the “cornerstone” of the rebuilding of the fallen Tabernacle of David… and it is the narrative expressed in Peter’s comments:

1 Peter 2:5

5 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” KJV

The “People” [Israel] are these “lively stones” and the same prophesied ones of the resurrected “dry bones” of Ezekiel as noted above… and Yahweh, in these last days, is making ready a People [Israel] that He will return to the Land [Israel]. Are you one of these “lively stones?” Can you sense the Spirit of Elijah moving throughout the world as Yahweh readies His “Sons” of Zion to defeat the sons of Greece. Did you know that the name “Israel,” in Hebrew means “he will rule as God” or “the prince that prevails with God?” This is a reflection of the narrative of Jacob’s encounter (all night wrestling match) with Yahweh when his name was changed from Jacob to Israel. If you are not excited after reading all this… you need to wake up! The King of Glory is coming and if you believe He (Yeshua) is that King, then you have work to do while the day is light… “for the night cometh when no man can work.” (John 9:4). The same is true as we speak: we believers [Israel] have the “light” to share with a dying world that is deceived with false religious teachings and outright disgusting, ungodly lifestyles as it was in Sodom and Gomorrah. Pray that Yahweh will lead someone to you so that you can share Yeshua and His life giving truth to lift them out of the darkness into the light of Messiah. Yahweh knows who is on our/His “appointment” list… I believe all such encounters are divinely ordered.

When Yahweh sees Israel, He sees ONE uniquely enjoined People and Land that somehow represents what He intends to be the matrix of the “New Jerusalem,” of which Yeshua will be the reigning King; and the People will be reconstituted from the dust of the earth where they lay, enlivened by the  spirit which Yahweh will breath “back” into them (exactly the picture of the Whole House of Israel being reconstituted out of the Valley of the dry bones) and our new “body” will be like Yeshua’s resurrected body… Yeshua is the “first born” of many brethren, and when we are resurrected from the dust (or are caught up with Him in the ingathering) we will be part of that marriage of the People to the Land and the Messiah because the “bride” is Israel… and Israel is Yahweh’s and when you say “Israel” you can’t have the People without the Land, or the Land without the People. When the New Jerusalem is come down from Heaven (Rev 21:1-3), the unity of the Land [Israel] with the People [Israel] makes the bride ready for the bridegroom… King Yeshua.  There is a terrific and horrendous conflict on the horizon; the Scriptures tell of the coming tribulation period where all of the evil forces of Babylon will try to hold back the unity of the People and the Land (a Pharaoh/Egypt like happening hindering their Exodus, and Esau’s obstructions). This sounds like “Jacob’s troubles:”

Jer 30:1-10

“The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. 3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. 4 And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. 5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. 8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: 9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.” KJV

Rev 22:16-21

16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” KJV

We must prepare our hearts and minds, while there is yet time, to know the Torah, Messiah, and the Spirit (Truth); so as we go about our duty (Israelites faithful to Yeshua and His Commandments) we will be sure of our path... for the time is short… Do you have an “ear” to “hear” what the Spirit (Truth) is saying?
